Solar batteries are low capacity rechargeable batteries.
The small solar panels on your solar product can only produce a low amount of energy from the sun each day. Low capacity cells are used so that they can be charged in a day and ready for use that night. If too high of a capacity cell was used the solar panel would not be able to charge the battery enough for the solar product to work.

Have not used all, but the ones I have worked fine.

Replaced the batteries in 4 year old solar lights and they work good as new. Very happy to fix the lights instead of replacing them.

Let me start by saying tht I never knew there was a difference between regular AA rechargeable batteries and "solar AA rechargeable batteries. These guys are a wealth of info and it is right in the product description, no long searches to find it. The batteries I ordered worked perfectly and have been working each night since I put them in. The jury is still out for how long they last but 5 stars right out of the gate! This is the third product I have ordered from these guys and their service are excellent, fast, and I wouldn't hesitate ordering any battery from them, even the most obscure battery you can't find in a retail outlet.
